North Georgia Mountain Riding Areas

DEALS GAP - The Dragon's Tail This stretch of road from North Carolina to Tennesses is World famous due to the fact that they're are 318 curves in 11 short miles!
CHEROHALA SKYWAY - This 50 mile long scenic stretch has a mile high mountain named Santeetlah Overlook. At 5390 foot this is the highest peak of the Skyway. This is one of the most beautiful roads in the nation when Fall is at its peak! Built over 10 years ago at a cost of 100 million, be prepared as there are no gas stations or stores along the way!
BLUE RIDGE PARKWAY - If you seek a slow paced ride, look no further! With food and lodging along the way, this Parkway is celebrating its 75th year of surperb roads through the Great Smokies! This road is seasonal due to the weather...call 828-298-0398 for road updates!
WAYA ROAD - Pick this 27 mile road up off of US19/74 ("The 4 Lane") North of Andrews, NC as you go through Nantahala Gorge. This two lane road will take you through to Old Murphy Rd. in Franklin, NC,
DUAL SPORT RIDING - In addition to boosting some of the BEST twistees in the U.S., we also have hundreds of miles of Forest Service roads. These roads are open to vehicles who have a license and can handle the rougher terrain. From manicured roads to goat trails, North Georgia will give you and your dual purpose a real work out! The US Forest Dept. can provide detailed maps on the roads. OHV/ATV TRAILS - Within 5 miles of Union Powersports we have two sensational riding areas for ATV's and dirt bikes. The DAVENPORT OHV Trail System is a nice 1 hour loop of almost 6 miles of mountain terrain. The trails are marked for ability level. ALWAYS wear proper saftey gear. Usually opens from March to the end of December. Brasstown Ranger District 706-745-6928. BEASLEY KNOB - is another within spitting distance of us. The trail system here is 10.6 miles and the use of 4WD vehicles other then ATV's is permitted. This trail system is rated a bit more difficult and for more experienced riders.
